About Govs Give 2026

Govs Give is Austin Peay State University’s annual day of giving, launched in 2017 to bring the entire Govs community together for 1 day, 9 hours, and 27 minutes of collective impact. This unique timeframe commemorates the university’s founding year of 1927, honoring Austin Peay’s rich history while investing in its future. During this time, alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students, and supporters unite to invest in the people, programs, and priorities that make Austin Peay exceptional.

Funds raised through Govs Give support discretionary funds across all colleges, Athletics, Student Affairs, and Military and Veterans Affairs. These flexible funds allow university leaders to respond quickly to emerging needs, enhance student experiences, and seize opportunities that may not be possible through traditional funding alone. From academic innovation to student life, from competition to community, Govs Give empowers every area of campus to move forward with confidence.
